Hi Stacey,
Just wanted to give you an update on our Spencer boy. Spencer just had his third set of shots at our vet, he weighs 11lbs and is extremely healthy. Our vet tells us we got him from a quality breeder (which we already knew) and they are very impressed with Spencer’s disposition and temperament. Spencer still has tons of energy and is so fun! He now has learned to sit and stay, he lays down on command, he can shake, roll over and hi-five! Spencer will do anything for ice cubes and is very eager to learn. He loves loves the snow and has been snowmobiling twice so far.
Like I had told you, I mostly work from home except for once or twice a week when I do well checks on children with special needs. Spencer has been going with me for the last 3 weeks and he loves meeting everyone! He was pretty funny last week, we walked up to a house the dad of the home answered the door, welcomed us and Spencer growled at the man (between you and I Spencer has good instincts) when he saw the little boy we went to visit he was so calm and immediately sensed his disabilities and gave him lots of loves. He is so good when we go to the hospitals as well, he’s also an amazing traveler in the car and we took our first flight to Seattle last week too. My husband is a medic/firefighter, Spencer is also famous at the fire station and is a pro riding on the engine.
We cannot express enough how grateful we are to have Spencer! He’s truly our world. Thank you so much for the opportunity to have Spencer in our lives.
